JASON BUSS

With over 20 years of recruiting and human resources leadership experience, Jason Buss is a recognized expert with deep experience in identifying, recruiting and hiring high-performing teams. He is currently the Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition & Workforce Strategy for MongoDB.

Jason founded the Recruiters Network in 2011, an organization committed to advancing the talent acquisition profession through continuing education, professional development, recruiting conferences and networking events. Jason has built and led several of the nation’s largest and most active regional recruiting communities and he has authored and published content in, and has been quoted by The Huffington Post, Fast Company, Bloomberg, MarketWatch, Society for Human Resource Management, Corporate Executive Board and more.

Outside of work you can find Jason enjoying the outdoors in the Bay Area, indulging in froyo, exploring a new part of the world on vacation, hanging out with his family, or tending to their adorable yet bossy Pekingese named Otis.

ROBERT HOEFER

Rob has broad recruiting experience and started sourcing in 2006. He has worked at Accenture, Best Buy, UnitedHealth Group, Cargill and is currently a Senior Executive Sourcer at U. S. Bank. He enjoys the identification and engagement of passive top talent.

He has experience managing corporate talent acquisition social media platforms at Best Buy and Supervalu. Rob is considered a LinkedIn SME, has been involved in University Recruiting. Rob has organized/managed a number of local and national career fairs.

Born and raised in Minnesota, he received his bachelor’s degree from St Cloud State, where he started his career in Human Resources as an Intern in the HR Department.

TARA STORMS

After earning her Bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas, she worked at Target HQ and at Northwestern Mutual – The Columns Resource Group, where she managed all the hiring for the Network Office as well as recruitment, training, and retention for Financial Advisors. She even worked with her own husband!

Tara brings over 15 years of recruiting experience, and is excited by the opportunity to meet and learn from new people and share her ideas with others! And, she has a strong passion for recruiting and focuses on the candidate experience, as well as ensuring the fit is *always* right for both the candidate and the company.

JOSH ROCK

Josh Rock is a Recruiting Specialist with Fairview Health Services. He has 13 years in Talent Acquisition and recruitment marketing, where he’s partnered with Minnesota’s small businesses & Fortune 500 across the US.

Josh is an active volunteer leader with the MNSHRM State Council, serving currently as the College Relations Director. He also is the Lead Moderator of #JobHuntChat, a Twitter-based advice chat that serves job seekers across the US & Canada each Monday night.

Born & raised in Minnesota, Josh attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He has three talented children (Sami, Cullen & Brayden) and is an avid hockey fan.

NACOLE JOHNSON

NaCole leads the Talent Acquisition team and is an HR Business Partner with Restaurant Technologies. For the past 11 years, her primary career focus has been supporting growth companies during intensive and targeted hiring phases.  Since joining Restaurant Technologies in 2015, NaCole has led the talent acquisition team to triple-digit hiring year over year and partnered with several departments to contribute to a company all-time high of 85%+ retention.

Prior to finding her calling in Human Resources, she was a licensed cosmetologist and worked for the top Aveda salon in Minnesota. Her passion for top-notch customer service led her to begin her corporate career in recruiting and providing an exemplary candidate experience. With vast exposure to all segments of talent acquisition, from a staffing agency to corporate recruiting, NaCole’s knowledge is an invaluable component of her success and her contribution to the company.

NaCole and her family live in the western suburbs on the shores of Lake Minnetonka.  You will find them boating and wakesurfing in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter.  She manages a household of four busy and amazing kids and an equally amazing husband!

KATE BISCHOFF

Kate Bischoff is an energetic and enthusiastic attorney and SHRM-SCP human resources professional, who advises employers in a wide range of industries on employment law matters from recruitment to termination and beyond. Kate’s recruiting experience comes from her experience as the Human Resources Officer for the U.S. Consulate General Jerusalem and U.S. Embassy Zambia – two places where recruiting presents interesting challenges. With this experience, Kate understands the business needs of recruiters and looks for practical and compliant solutions.

A self-professed technology geek, Kate is particularly passionate about the use and impact of social media and technology in the workplace. You can find her tweeting about technology and human resources from her office, her home, and just about everywhere in between.

KELLI FENIMORE

Kelli Fenimore is a passionate, enthusiastic leader with over 10+ years in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition, as well as over 20+ years’ experience serving in operations and support roles in the restaurant/retail industry. She is a proven relationship builder and connector who loves to create winning teams through understanding existing team dynamics and business goals. Kelli works for Johnson Brothers Liquor Company where she is the Midwest Regional HR Business Partner. Prior to that spent the last 16 months of her career working for three companies as an HR and Career Transition consultant while pursuing her Coach Practitioner Certification.

Kelli is a native of St. Paul currently living in Savage with her husband (Brad), their two-year-old daughter (Harper), and their Frengle (French Bulldog/Beagle), Diego. If she isn’t busy chasing Harper around, you can find her running random races around the Twin Cities or enjoying local breweries or good wine with friends and family. She is a graduate of St. Cloud State University but admittedly a diehard Gopher fan and is now a Certified Coach Practitioner.

RYAN FOSTER

Ryan Foster leads campus programs and outreach for Minnesota Recruiters and is a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Agiliti where he focuses on recruitment marketing and strategy. He began his career in Human Resources as an intern at Agiliti going into his senior year of college.

Raised in southern Minnesota, he graduated from the University of St. Thomas in Spring 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources Management. During his time at St. Thomas, he served in a variety of leadership positions, including Student Body President during his senior year.

Ryan enjoys working for positive change and is always trying to learn new things and gain fulfilling experiences. In his free time, he enjoys running, hiking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.

STEVE LEWIS

Steve Lewis is Director, Talent Acquisition for Hearth & Home Technologies and Adjunct Faculty at the Carlson School at the University of Minnesota.  Within the past 20 plus years in a recruiting role, Steve has built and executed recruiting and sourcing strategies, processes, technology solutions, and led teams to support the talent acquisition needs of his various employers.

At a time of increasing demand and competition for great talent, his recent focus has been on developing and executing strategies to increase employment brand awareness and employer reputation that drives the creation of a strong talent pipeline for the needs of today and the future.

For the past six years, Steve has been able to exercise his second passion in HR Technology by teaching a Human Resource Information Systems class to the students at the Carlson School obtaining their Master of Arts degree in Human Resources/Industrial Relations. This has allowed him to give back to the program from which he graduated, and helps him stay current with the latest technology tools that support recruiting.
